Morphettville Value Bet - Race 3 No. 1 Mt Niseko

The six-year-old recorded three wins earlier this campaign, with the most recent coming over this track and trip at the start of November.

The gelding took out a Benchmark 82 handicap by over half-a-length that day and acquitted himself well on wet tracks in both subsequent runs that preparation.

The son of I Am Invincible was beaten less than one-and-a-half lengths over 1200m here in the second of those starts before being spelled.

Both of his runs this time in have come in Listed company at this course.

Mt Niseko gets a significant drop in grade here, and from a good barrier with Matt Chadwick’s 3kg claim, he can return to winning form at the track.

Morphettville Next Best Bet - Race 6 No. 2 On Display

The four-year-old showed good form last preparation, following a Benchmark 78 win with two Group race placings from three starts.

Those efforts included a third in the Group 1 Empire Rose Stakes over 1600m at Flemington in November.

She resumed with a solid third in the Group 3 Shaftesbury Avenue Handicap over 1400m at Flemington.

The mare then finished fifth in the 1600m Sunline Stakes at Caulfield after jumping from a wide barrier.

With proven wet-track ability and back in distance, On Display looks well placed to bounce back.

Morphettville Best Bet - Race 7 No. 6 Mathematician

The three-year-old was a $100,000 purchase at the 2024 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

He gained plenty of trial experience prior to debut, including a win over 1050m at this track in February.

The gelding then made an impressive start to his racing career, coming from off the pace to win by nearly one-and-a-half lengths over the same trip.

That performance came on a Good 4 surface, with the second and third both winning subsequently.

Mathematician backed that up with another strong win and looks ready for the rise in grade as he aims to remain unbeaten.

Morphettville Feature Bet - Race 9 No. 2 Stung

The daughter of Dundeel debuted with a win over 1460m at Kilmore in September.

She followed that with a solid fifth in the Group 2 Fillies Classic at Moonee Valley.

After a break, she returned with a dead-heat win over 1400m at Pakenham.

The Hayes-trained galloper then stepped up to Listed company here two weeks ago and scored impressively over 1600m.

Stung looks suited rising in distance again, and with Daniel Stackhouse back aboard, she can continue her strong progression.
