While unable to complete a hat-trick, she performed well to be beaten less than half a length, and with the extra 200m expected to suit and Alysha Warren again claiming 3kg, she looks capable of returning to winning ways.

Morphettville Value Bet - Race 4 No. 7 Royal Scripture

The New Zealand-bred is a dual winner this preparation, including a 1200m victory at this venue when resuming in November.

He handled wet ground that day and later confirmed good conditions are no issue with a narrow Class 2 success over 1400m on the Parks track three starts ago.

Both subsequent runs resulted in fifth-place finishes, with the latest seeing him travel well before fading late over 1600m at this circuit.

The distance appeared to test him on that occasion, with the drop back in trip here a clear positive.

Blinkers are removed after being worn in recent starts and, despite a wide draw, he appeals as value under Taylor Johnstone.

Morphettville Best Bet - Race 5 No. 1 Rebel Tuesday

Phillip Stokes’ filly is the most experienced runner in the field with three career starts.

Two of those came in the spring following a winning Murray Bridge trial, with her debut producing a third over 900m on a Good 4 at that same venue.

She improved next start when beaten just half a length over 1050m in a two-year-old plate at this track.

After a break, she returned earlier this month with a victory over 1050m here when ridden with more restraint.

Challenging widest in the straight, she won comfortably, with the first two home finishing more than five lengths clear of third, and she looks capable of going back-to-back.

Sportsbet Lord Reims Stakes (G3) Tips (Race 7)

Morphettville Feature Bet - Race 7 No. 2 Komachi

The veteran gelding is a nine-time winner, including four victories from twelve starts this season.

Those wins include three from his past five appearances, most recently stepping up to Listed company for the Premier’s Plate here two weeks ago.

The son of Kingman scored by half a length over 2006m on a Good 4 surface that day.

Prior to that, he was narrowly beaten in the 2050m Strathalbyn Cup at Strathalbyn on similar going.

While stepping up in distance presents a new test, he has been racing in career-best form and, with Rochelle Milnes retained, he shapes as the runner to beat despite a wide barrier.
