His most recent victory came by just under half a length in a 2000m Benchmark 78 handicap after settling midfield.

The runner-up that day, Prince Levi, has since gone on to score and is set to reoppose here, adding strength to the form.

Prior to that, the gelding was ridden with restraint before scoring by over a length in a Benchmark 78 over this track and trip on good ground.

A proven wet tracker with two soft-track wins, including a Soft 7 success at Sunshine Coast first-up this prep, he boasts four wins from six starts at the distance and, with Daniel Moor retained, looks hard to beat again.

Sunset Soiree Book Now Class 1 Handicap Tips (Race 3)

Doomben Value Bet - Race 3 No. 10 Duomo

The son of Sooboog has had just three career starts, with two of those on the Gold Coast synthetic.

He placed on both occasions there, including a one-and-a-half-length third over 1540m at his second outing.

Jay Bellamy’s gelding was spelled after that run and resumed over 1400m at Beaudesert earlier this month.

Racing on the speed, he produced an easy win, finishing more than four lengths clear on a Good 4 surface.

He also trialled successfully on a Soft 5 prior to resuming and, as the sole three-year-old following scratchings, he shapes as an improving type from an inside draw with Michael Rodd taking the ride.

Drinkwise QTIS Three-Years-Old Handicap Tips (Race 5)

Doomben Roughie - Race 5 No. 10 Norty Forty

The daughter of Prince Fawaz showed promise last preparation, highlighted by an impressive maiden win over 1350m at Warwick in October.

She scored by more than three-and-a-half lengths on that occasion and later placed twice in metropolitan handicaps.

One of those placings was a narrow third over 1600m on a Soft 6 at this track.

She has been held in two runs this campaign, including in the Listed Magic Millions 3YO Guineas before another midfield effort over this course and distance.

With improved fitness expected and stable form encouraging, she may surprise at odds if returning to her best.

Sky Racing Class 3 Plate Tips (Race 7)

Doomben Next Best Bet - Race 7 No. 14 Scripted

The four-year-old won both starts as a three-year-old, including over this course and distance in October 2024.

After a lengthy spell, she has returned with four runs this preparation, placing second in three of them.

Two of those placings came on wet tracks, including a narrow defeat in a Benchmark 70 at Eagle Farm in December.

She again settled off the speed when runner-up on good ground at the Gold Coast before contesting the Magic Millions Fillies & Mares over 1300m.

Drawn wide in that rich event, she was freshened after finishing midfield and, from an inside barrier here, looks capable of returning to winning form.
