Australia may have taken the Test series with relative ease, but the T20 series will be something different and it will be the home team that draws the first blood.
The Windies batting order had no answers for the bowling attack of the Australians in the five-day format, however, with only Josh Hazlewood of the awesome foursome staying in the Caribbean, it will be a less aggressive and consistent opponent for the young West Indies squad.
The Windies batsmen will find it more comfortable at the crease on their home pitch in Jamaica and will take the accendency in the series. I expect captain Shai Hope to be out to make amends for a poor test series and come out in this series with a bang, easily scoring over his batting total of 22.5 runs. Hope comes in in good T20I form after hitting a half century against Ireland in his last short-form appearance.
With the ball it is all about Alzarri Joseph who will add to the 13 wickets he took in the test series, collecting 5 in the second innings of the final match during their series defeat.
