Can we call this one the Underperformers Cup? Two teams that had so much expectation coming into 2025 and have once again failed their fanbases. It makes for a tough analysis when neither team can string together any type of consistency from one week to the next, well other than losing.

Their contested footy is 2nd best in the AFL so they will be bringing the punch.

The expectation is that Port just don’t have enough left in the tank this season to compete with a team like Carlton on the road.

Port Adelaide lost their 4th straight game on the weekend in a nailbiter against the Fremantle Dockers 92-86. The Power were overrun in the first term going to the break 29-4 down but took the lead into the half and extended it through the majority of the 3rd term.

With elite caliber players like Connor Rozee, Zak Butters and Ollie Wines this team should be performing better and the clock is ticking on the premiership window while they are languishing in the also-rans.
