France and Spain collide in a heavyweight World Cup semi-final at AT&T Stadium in Dallas on Tuesday and we've selected our four best player props to be backing.
These teams were the two pre-tournament favourites ahead of the World Cup and they've never looked in any danger on their respective routes to the semi-finals, with France scoring 16 goals and keeping three clean sheets in the knockout phase and Spain leaking only one goal for the entire tournament.
Both teams have superstar players capable of breaking open the game with a single moment of individual brilliance and we'll be focusing on two of them for these player prop bets, along with a fullback who is set for a busy afternoon and is prone to a booking.

Mbappe simply has to be included. The Real Madrid star has scored eight goals at this World Cup, with three further assists. He's lighting up the competition with every game and has averaged 5.21 shots and 3.3 shots on target in his six appearances - including 2+ in every game.
Mbappe is coming off another electric showing against Morocco in the quarter-finals, where he scored a brilliant curling effort - and he could have had a brace if not for a missed penalty. He had four shots on target against Paraguay and Sweden in the R16 and R32 respectively. Spain will keep things tighter and it could prove a bit more challenging to find space, but Mbappe is on fire and I'm confident he will test the keeper at least twice again here.

The same applies for Yamal, although the teenage sensation has been relatively quiet throughout this World Cup. I do expect Yamal to rise to this occasion - he's gone on record this World Cup saying he was aiming to peak for the knockout phase and his performances have definitely improved from the group stage.
Yamal has enjoyed this matchup so far in his young career, scoring three goals in his last two appearances against France in the 2025 Nations League and 2024 Euro semi-finals. The 18-year-old is gradually upping the ante, registering a whopping 15 shots across his three knockout games for eight on target. He had four shots on goal against Austria in the R32 before two each against Portugal and Belgium in the R16 and quarter-finals.
Yamal can exploit France's weakness at fullback and terrorise Lucas Digne - I'm confident he can cut inside on his left multiple times to work the keeper.

While Yamal will prove a nightmare to contain, he's also got history of some ill-discipline in this matchup.
Indeed, Yamal has picked up a yellow card in his last two appearances against France and I must say the $6.00 on offer for him to pick up another card is tempting and worth a small stake.
However, the best bet for me is to play it safer and back Yamal to commit 2+ fouls at around evens. He's committed a total of seven fouls across his last two outings at this World Cup, including five against Portugal and two against Belgium. He will be made to work harder on the flanks and as the opposition is improving, Yamal is being forced to track back and defend more.

I do however like Porro to be carded at some stage here.
Porro had a tough season with Spurs in the Premier League and picked up 10 yellow cards in 34 appearances.
The right fullback has improved considerably for Spain this tournament, but he hasn't really been tested and he's coming off four fouls against Belgium in the quarter-finals, where he was forced on the back foot more often by better opposition. I get the feeling he's due a yellow card and Porro will have his work cut out against one of Bradley Barcola or Desire Doue, both of whom are equipped with lightning pace.
