The 2025 NRL season moves into Round 17 this week with a full list of eight games taking place from June 26-29. Tony Moley Adams previews all eight matches and provides his best bet.

Panthers vs Bulldogs

Nathan Cleary has been named but isn’t 100 per cent, with his groin still playing up in a danger sign for the Panthers. The Bulldogs are certain to pressure him but the Panthers, with their Origin players back on deck, should be a little too strong in what shapes as the game of the round.

Moley’s Tip: Panthers by 1-12 ($3.25 Elitebet)

Sea Eagles vs Wests

The Tigers haven’t won on a Friday night in over 1000 nights and with star fullback Jahream Bula missing, it’s hard to see them ending that streak at Fortress Brookvale. Manly have problems of their own - their form has been patchy and plenty of talk of unrest in the camp - but they have enough talent to win this.

Moley’s Tip: Manly half/fulltime double ($1.95 Dabble)

Knights vs Raiders

The Knights are getting some of their injured stars back and came up with a fine upset win over the Dolphins last weekend. But Canberra just keep winning and have even given Origin forward Hudson Young a rest, so confident are they of keeping their winning streak going.

Moley’s Tip: Seb Kris anytime tryscorer ($2.80 BoomBet)

Broncos vs Warriors

The Broncos came back from the dead against the Sharks last week, showing their tremendous strike power. The Wahs were awful in losing to a depleted Penrith team and adding to their woes, they have lost prop Mitch Barnett for the season. Can’t go past the Broncos on form.

Moley’s Tip: Ezra Mam anytime try ($2.70 Betr)

Dragons vs Eels

The loser of this game can just about kiss their finals hopes goodbye - even in such a tight competition. A tough one to pick - plenty of reasons why neither side can win! But without halves Mitch Moses and Dylan Brown, the Eels are rudderless and the Dragons have the home ground advantage.

Moley’s Tip: Dragons by 1-12 ($3.40 Ladbrokes)

Dolphins vs Rabbitohs

The Phins were disappointing against the Knights last week and losing in-form winger Jack Bostock for the year only adds to their woes. Souths are slowly getting players back and with Latrell in great form may be too strong.

Moley’s Tip: Latrell Mitchell anytime tryscorer ($2.35 BoomBet)

Storm vs Sharks

The Sharks are in a form slump and the Storm have been winning without playing at their best. I have a rule never to tip against the Storm at home and it works 90 per cent of the time so I’m sticking with it.

Moley’s Tip: Storm -8.5 ($1.91 Dabble)

Titans vs Cowboys

The Titans are probably the only team out of finals contention and the Cowboys are fast slipping away from the pack. They need to win this game more than the boys from the Gold Coast and that should ensure they take the points.

Moley’s Tip: Cowboys by 1-12 ($3.60 Elitebet)
