Gosford Value Bet - Race 1 No. 5 Devine Crusader
It was a strong debut from Devine Crusader, who hit the line hard at Quirindi despite a wide run and that winner franked the form at Scone via his next outing.
She was one-paced following that when seventh-of-thirteen at Muswellbrook and stepping up to a mile at start three should be in her favour.
Three subsequent winners have already come from that June 1 event and after drawing out in both runs to date, Devine Crusader now has gate two.

Gosford Best Bet - Race 5 No. 1 Sonofdec
He showed a lot of promise over his three-year-old season, which included a dominant third-up Midway victory before contesting the Queensland Derby.
The gelding has been competitive in two of three runs this campaign and he responded from a second-up failure when narrowly beaten at Newcastle.
Sonofdec should've won that last attempt, where he was held-up at key stages and along with stripping fitter with a mile run completed, he also drops in grade here.

Gosford Next Best Bet - Race 6 No. 1 Like Lukey
It was eye-catching Scone return from Like Lukey, who launched late in the Country Cup as second to Who Ever Thought (metro BM72 winner last week).
She was left flat-footed when contesting a metro BM72 at Rosehill second-up and on a Heavy 8, the Kris Lees-trained mare lacked the brilliance to make inroads.
This is a decent drop in grade, with Like Lukey now back to a provincial BM64 and the extra 100m is another positive (all of her wins have come at 1600m-1800m).
The Annika Rose BM64 Handicap Tips (Race 7)
Gosford Roughie - Race 7 No. 1 Flying Argyle
He's been mostly consistent in 11 runs to date, with two wins and six placings recorded, while he's only finished outside of the top four twice.
Flying Argyle was respected in the market first-up and in an otherwise on-speed dominated race, he's come from back and wide (race-fastest last 200m).
The only failure this season came via an end-of-prep run in a Provincial Qualifier back in March, while the three-year-old is adept on all surfaces.
