Doomben Tips June 10
The Gibson Maiden Plate Tips (Race 1)
Doomben Roughie - Race 1 No. 5 Dust Cloud
Dust Cloud has shown ability in all three starts to date, with two of those coming this preparation.
The gelding's most recent effort saw him beaten just over five-and-a-half lengths in a 1609m maiden at Ipswich three weeks ago.
Racing on a Heavy 9 surface, the pick raced on the pace and stayed on nicely with Daniel Moor, who again takes the ride here.
That effort marked the gelding's second start back from a break, with the form receiving a boost when the winner saluted at the Sunshine Coast subsequently.
The son of Maurice had delivered a decent effort when finishing seventh over 1400m at Eagle Farm early last month, where he was beaten less than three lengths on a Soft 5 track, and with blinkers applied for the first time, may prove capable of surprising.
Sky Racing Fillies and Mares Class 1 Handicap Tips (Race 3)
Doomben Value Bet - Race 3 No. 7 Immediate
Immediate has recorded some good efforts in defeat at the Gold Coast in recent starts, finishing in the first five in her last three appearances.
Two of those efforts have come on turf, including a fifth-place finish in a 16-runner 1300m Class 1 event there last time out.
Racing on a Soft 6 track, the mare was beaten just under six lengths in a race that saw the winner finish well clear of the opposition.
While that race has yet to produce a winner, a number of runners from the field have gone on to perform well subsequently.
The four-year-old finished second in a Class 2 handicap at the same venue three starts back and has demonstrated tactical versatility in the past, while barrier eight should not pose an issue and she rates value to provide the Tony Gollan stable with a winner.

Doomben Next Best Bet - Race 5 No. 3 Captain Maverick
Captain Maverick has shown a liking for wet surfaces without winning, recording two top-three finishes on Soft ground this preparation.
Both of those efforts have come at Ipswich, including a defeat by less than a length over 2170m on his penultimate start.
Racing on a Soft 6 surface, the gelding raced on the pace that day, however, he was ridden with slightly more restraint at this venue subsequently.
That latest effort saw the five-year-old finish sixth in a Benchmark 78 handicap over 2200m.
The drop in class is a positive here, with the son of Free Eagle set to jump from barrier three, while Ryan Maloney again takes the ride and his mount can help improve the jockey's 27.5% strike-rate (14/51) when teaming up with Tony Gollan here this season.
XXXX Gold Class 2 Handicap Tips (Race 6)
Doomben Best Bet - Race 6 No. 10 Jam Packed
Jam Packed catches the eye as the winner of two of her three starts this preparation, the first of those coming when resuming with a maiden success at the Sunshine Coast.
Both of the mare's subsequent starts have come at that track, including a fourth-place finish when beaten less than two lengths there next time out.
Racing on a Soft 5 surface over 1400m, the mare picked up well in the straight after being ridden from midfield for much of the event.
The five-year-old doubled her career tally when saluting by over a length after stepping up to 1600m in a Benchmark 62 handicap last time.
The form of that race looks solid, with the sixth horse subsequently placing second at Doomben and the seventh winning on the polytrack back at the Sunshine Coast, while a wide barrier should not pose too many issues and the mare looks capable of continuing her progress with another victory.
