Australia Women can secure a major statement win over England in their penultimate group game, with this moving them clear at the top of the CWC ladder.

England Women are also eyeing up top-spot on the ladder, with a win over the Aussies seeing them strengthen their hopes of ending the group stage as the top ranked side.

Australia Women have proved far too good for each opponent they have come up against at the World Cup this year, with only the weather stopping them from securing a perfect record as their clash with Sri Lanka was rained off.

England Women Form

England Women are on the cusp of moving clear at the top of the World Cup ladder, but the best team in women's cricket is standing in their way.

Wins over South Africa (by 10-wickets), Bangladesh (by four-wickets), Sri Lanka (by 89-runs) and India (by four-runs) has seen the English win all four of their competed matches. Their no result against Pakistan saw England secure a point they did not deserve as they were well and truly on the backfoot against their opponents and hurtling towards defeat.

Against Australia, I back England to struggle. The English have had their wobbly moments throughout the tournament, but no side has been able to capitalise. I back the best tournament team in the women's game to come up trumps as they hand England their first defeat.
