After starting 0-2 the Dockers have collected two consecutive victories with a statement win over West Coast in the derby and then a confident 16 point victory over the Bulldogs last weekend.

They now head to Gather Round with momentum which will be needed given the ins and outs in the roster and the bad luck they have had in Adelaide in recent years.

Fremantle were strong in front of the sticks last weekend, something they have been inconsistent with over the past few seasons, 15 goals to 7 behinds is a great result for a team that ranked 11th with a 48.6% accuracy rate last season.

With Luke Jackson now out for a few weeks the Dockers will likely be undersized in the back-up ruck position and considering they start a lot of their attacking play from stoppages and clearances it could affect how they work their game plan.

Luke Jackson will miss 2-3 weeks with a hammy and Nathan O’Driscoll will miss at least a month with an ankle. But the Dockers are likely to see the return of Sean Darcy and Hayden Young who both made returns through the WAFL.

Nat Fyfe is having problems with recurring soreness in his knee and was kept out of action last weekend. If he passes a fitness test he could be an inclusion on the interchange.

Corey Wagner will miss this weekend’s game while Sam Switkowski will need to pass concussion protocol to take his spot in the team.
