Collingwood vs Geelong Cats- Expert Prediction


Collingwood and Geelong collide in what shapes as one of the matches of the round, and there is every chance this goes right down to the wire.

Collingwood enter the clash with plenty of confidence after stringing together six consecutive victories and have developed a blueprint that stands up against quality opposition.

If the Cats can get first use through the middle and expose Collingwood in transition, they have more than enough firepower to challenge.

Inside forward 50, both sides possess multiple avenues to goal, but Ollie Henry shapes as one of the key figures. The former Pie has an excellent record against his old club, kicking 2+ goals in five of his past six meetings, and arrives in strong touch after booting six goals across his past two matches. His ability to stretch Collingwood's defence alongside Shannon Neale looms as a significant factor.

With both clubs entering the match in strong form, this shapes as one of the games of the round. Momentum is likely to swing several times throughout the night. Expect another high-quality contest that is a strong chance to be decided by less than 15 points.
