Adelaide will extend their fortress-like home form when they host the surging Gold Coast Suns in what looms as one of the most compelling matchups of Round 19.

The Crows have won six of their last seven and are undefeated in their past six at Adelaide Oval, while they are yet to concede defeat to the Suns in six matches at the Adelaide Oval.

But this is the best Gold Coast side we have seen and the Suns outfit should be full of belief after toppling Collingwood last weekend by six points in a Friday night thriller.

That win showcased their growing resilience, but they'll need to lift again against a red-hot Adelaide forward line led by Riley Thilthorpe, who booted a career-best six goals last weekend.

Despite the loss of Touk Miller, the Suns’ midfield remains in formidable touch, with Matt Rowell and Noah Anderson combining for 64 disposals in Round 18.

With the Suns never having won at Adelaide Oval, and the Crows looking settled and dangerous, expect a tight contest — but Adelaide in the 1-39 point range looks the play here. Jordan Dawson will lead the way for the home side, while Darcy Fogarty looks good for the 2+.
