The 2025 tennis season officially comes to a close with the Next Gen ATP Finals, live from Jeddah in Saudi Arabia between December 17-21.

The eight best players of the year aged 20 and younger will converge in Jeddah as they square off for the Next Gen ATP Finals title.

This tournament has acted as a springboard for main tour success, with previous Next Gen champions including Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz since the tournament first began in 2017.

Joao Fonseca is the defending champion, but has opted to miss this year's edition, along with Jakub Mensik.

That makes World No. 28 Learner Tien the top seed and heavy favourite to capture the silverware after the American finished runner-up to Fonseca last year.

The other seven players in the field include Alexander Blockx, Dino Prizmic, Martin Landaluce, Nikolai Budkov-Kjaer, Nishesh Basavareddy, Rafael Jodar and Justin Engel.

Staged on indoor hardcourt at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, the Next Gen ATP Finals features two groups of eight players, with the top two from each advancing to the semi-finals, where the tournament then becomes a standard knockout.

The competition is a best-of-five set format and is first to four games in each set.
