Daniil Medvedev remains far below his best, but Roman Safiullin has a 3-16 record vs top 10 players and is 1-4 in tour-level semi-finals, so the former World No. 1 is tipped to advance into the Hangzhou Open final on Monday night.
It's always somewhat risky betting on Medvedev these days, but Safiullin has a ceiling and his past struggles in situations like this means you can't justify backing the underdog here.
So instead, I'm going to focus on the tiebreak market and Over 22.5 total games.
I still think this match will be competitive. Medvedev has seen four tiebreaks in his last three matches, including both of his Hangzhou outings against Coleman Wong and Valentin Royer.
Safiullin is a better player than those two, so another tiebreak wouldn't be surprising at all - and if that's the case, Over 22.5 games has a good chance of landing, while a three-setter between the pair all but assures that total will be surpassed.
But as mentioned, Safiullin's poor record against top 10 players and in semi-finals counts against him pulling off the upset. Take Medvedev in three at decent value.

There's no doubt Medvedev peaked at the start of this season.
Indeed, the former World No. 1 won 20 of his 36 matches for the year in the opening three months, winning titles in Brisbane and Dubai, along with finishing runner-up at Indian Wells and making the fourth round of the Australian Open.
But his performance at the slams has again been disappointing - Medvedev failed to reach a quarter-final, meaning he hasn't been beyond the R16 at the majors since 2024.
However, Medvedev remains entrenched inside the top 10 and will be looking to finish the year strongly and wrap up a spot at the season-ending finals - he's got the job done without being spectacular so far in Hangzhou, overcoming Valentin Royer (7-6(6) 6-3) and Coleman Wong (6-3 6-7(2) 6-3) to make the semi-finals after a first round bye.

Safiullin has won half of his tour-level matches for the year this week in Hangzhou as he continues to rebuild his ranking after a long injury layoff.
The 29-year-old made a big impact at Wimbledon, where he beat Andrey Rublev and Joao Fonesca on his way to the fourth round, taking a set off Novak Djokovic before going down in four.
Safiullin had a tough first round draw at the US Open against Carlos Alcaraz, but has got back to winning ways in Hangzhou this week, with his three wins so far propelling him to a live ranking of No. 84.
The Russian has taken out two local players and dropped just one set on his way to the final four, toppling Fajing Sun (6-2 6-0), Quentin Halys (5-7 6-3 6-4) and Bu Yunchaokete (6-3 6-3).
