The Asian swing begins to heat up with a big ATP 500 tournament taking place in Tokyo this week, with the Japan Open live between September 24-30, 2025.

World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz is the headline act in the Japanese capital, with the Spaniard returning for his first competitive tournament since lifting the US Open trophy.

Alcaraz will be determined to take home the silverware and maintain his No. 1 ranking that he recently took from rival Jannik Sinner, who is competing in Beijing this week.

Alcaraz is certainly the favourite to prevail, but he will be challenged by the likes of Taylor Fritz, Holger Rune and Casper Ruud.

The tournament is played on outdoor hardcourt and held at the Ariake Colasseum in Tokyo. A total of 500 ranking points is up for grabs to the winner.
