Perth Glory vs Melbourne Victory Tips & Predictions - Victory to secure back-to-back wins

Victory are backed to secure consecutive wins for the first time under new coach Arthur Diles after Patrick Kisnorbo's shock departure in December. However, Victory are heavy favourites, so we're backing both teams to score for our best bet. Victory almost certainly will get on the scoresheet, while Perth have improved lately, finding the back of the net in six of their last seven games, including scoring twice in a 2-2 draw away to Newcastle last week. Perfect opportunity for Victory to start building momentum once again and I'm confident they take it.

Victory have won the last three meetings between the teams, including a 2-0 triumph at home back in Round 7.

It's been another poor campaign for Perth, but they've showcased some improvement over the last few weeks, along with adding several signings in the transfer window.

Glory claimed the scalp of Auckland FC back in Round 14, conquering the Kiwi club 1-0 at home, while they were able to secure a point in a 2-2 draw on the road against the Jets last week.

The top six is obviously out of reach, but Perth will be hoping to continue their gradual progress and play spoiler for a number of teams for the remainder of the season.

It was a tough period for Victory, but they have taken the first steps to rebuilding their season, registering a solid 2-0 triumph over rivals Sydney FC last week.

Nikos Vergos and Bruno Fornaroli got on the scoresheet that night and the strikers will be relishing the chance to find the back of the net against a Perth team that have conceded 37 goals this season (seven more than the next worst).
