An intriguing clash awaits to conclude A-League Round 12 action as defending champions Melbourne City welcome the Newcastle Jets to AAMI Park on Sunday afternoon.
City haven't been in great form lately, but they managed to snap a six-game winless run in all competitions by edging out Brisbane in their most-recent fixture, while the Jets have been the resident entertainers so far this season, scoring 23 goals and conceding 23 in a series of unpredictable performances. For context, the next-best scoring team this season has 16 goals. Newcastle have showcased they're capable of beating any side in the competition, but their defence remains a major issue.

Newcastle Jets Form Analysis
It's been a wildly up-and-down season for the erratic Jets, who head into Round 12 with a 5-0-6 record and in seventh spot on the ladder.
