When the Cowboys went on a four-game winning streak between Rounds 4-8, beating the Raiders and Panthers along the way, you were thinking they were genuine premiership contenders.

It's been a nightmare season for the Knights and they come into this clash on a five-game losing streak and down in 15th spot on the ladder.
The only saving grace for Newcastle this year has been their above average defence, but even that's come crashing down over the last fortnight, with the team conceding 92 combined points in heavy defeats to the Panthers and Raiders.
Where do you even begin to address the problems at Newcastle - all I know is that $10 million man Dylan Brown isn't going to magically unlock this team's attack just because you put a ridiculous price tag on him, especially if Kalyn Ponga wants out too.
