The last couple of weeks haven't been pretty, but the Storm have got the job done, edging out the Cowboys 26-20 up in Townsville in a game hugely affected by Origin before piling on 26 second-half points to topple the Knights 32-14.

It's been a wildly inconsistent season for the Sea Eagles, who find themselves in seventh spot on the ladder with eight wins from their 16 games.

Manly started the year strongly, suffered a setback with the DCE announcement and have now somewhat steadied the ship, going 3-3 across their last six matches to give themselves a solid chance at the finals.
