Isalot made little impact on debut in February when finishing ninth at big odds in a handy metro maiden before being spelled.
Trained and ridden by dual licence holder Dylan Dunn, the four-year-old has shown improvement in two August runs leading into this third-up assignment.
He stuck on well for second two starts back despite being outclassed, and as a one-paced galloper the rise in distance looks ideal.
With race fitness now on his side, further improvement is expected as he stretches out over a more suitable journey.
He shapes as a genuine each-way chance in this company.

Moe Next Best Bet - Race 5 No. 2 The Carillo
The Carillo produced a strong on-pace win third-up in February before a spell, and his preparation leading into this run looks strikingly similar.
He dropped in grade to land that victory and again comes back to Benchmark 58 level after competing in stronger Benchmark 64 company.
His first-up run was a needed blowout, but he improved sharply at Warrnambool on August 21 when a brave third in a deeper race than this.
He has the speed to take control from the draw, and 3kg claimer Stephanie Hateley, who was aboard for his last win, retains the ride.
With the right run on the speed, he looks ready to strike again at this level.

Moe Best Bet - Race 8 No. 1 Baby Hazel
Baby Hazel resumed in stronger company at Bendigo last month and was ridden conservatively from a wide draw, hitting the line late with strong sectionals.
She posted the fastest last 800m, 600m and 400m of that race and the step up in distance now looks a positive second-up.
Her previous second-up record includes a midfield effort in metro grade last campaign where she again closed strongly.
Back to mares’ company in a low benchmark event, her weight looks manageable under the conditions.
With Jamie Mott, who boasts a strike rate better than 30% at Moe over the past 12 months, taking over the ride, she shapes as an attractive each-way play.
