Race 2 No. 1 Won For The Girls

With two runner-up finishes to open his second campaign, Won For The Girls is knocking on the door for a breakthrough.

He was behind a subsequent metro winner fresh at Northam, where the gelding put more than seven lengths on third.

Won For The Girls was then wayward when attempting a straight-track sprint and going back around a bend is a plus here.

Wet ground brings Yallingup Girl further into calculations, as does the rise in trip and she only carries 50.5kg after the claim.
