Condition just gave out late first-up with 60kg, but Ginger Morpheus progressed second-up when taking out a high-rating Class 1 at Belmont and the runner-up franked that form at Pinjarra on Wednesday.
Keeping the four-year-old at 1000m suits for now, as while he's talented galloper who can work through the grades, he's still learning the caper and the gelding carries 2kg less from his last assignment.

After opening her career with a hat-trick, the unbeaten run ended at Listed level in February, but Yorga Pride atoned with a first-up victory over this track/trip last month and this race is a little easier if anything.
The mare got the better of Snow God via that July 26 resumption, with that runner-up placing behind two handy ones either side of that appearances and Yorga Pride was a second-up winner here last October.
This is smart use of the claim, which sees Yorga Pride carry half a kilo less from her return after the allowance from Chanel Cooper and the apprentice found form on Wednesday with a double at Pinjarra.
Idyllic Prince Stakes Tips (Race 7)

Behind a sharp sprinter in Castle Road (saluted fresh on August 9), Zipaway worked well when second on a Heavy 8 at the trials early this month and he's been mostly competitive in stronger races over the journey.

Belmont Value Bet - Race 8 No. 5 Desert Nymph
She was ticking over nicely early in the campaign, with a solid fresh effort over 1000m and after looming as a threat second-up, Desert Nymph just peaked on her chase when contesting a 1200m 72+ at Pinjarra.
The Michele Hagley-trained galloper didn't produce on the seven-day turnaround when up in the weights on August 9 and with the tongue tie now applied, that could explain the recent failure (choked down).
A switch in circuits is certainly in her favour on Saturday, as Desert Nymph has a terrific overall record at Belmont, having recorded five wins, three seconds, two thirds, and a fourth from 11 starts at this track.
