The visiting Australians adjusted perfectly to the tough conditions in Sri Lanka, demoralising the home side in the first test of the series, winning by an innings and 242 runs.
With such a performance it is hard to fathom that there will be any different result in the second test in Galle. Usman Khawaja was the hero with 232 runs for Australia and he may well play that role again with the opener having a history of high scores in Sri Lanka.
What is not to be missed though is that Steve Smith hit yet another century in the match as well, his third hundred in his past four games and his resurgence as Australians top batsman continues.
It was a pitch for the spinners with Nathan Lyon and Matt Kuhnemann claiming 16 wickets between them and it is expected that the pitch will once again open up for some good turn.
Steve Smith will score over his run total of 83.5 in the match while Nathan Lyon will claim over 5.5 wickets as Australia cruise to victory.
