Brisbane enters the final round having won nine of its past 10 matches, with its only defeat during that period coming against Carlton. A win here guarantees the Lions a top-four finish and double chance, while Collingwood is already likely to finish in a wildcard position.
Brisbane 1-39 is the preferred match bet. Eight of the last 10 matches between Brisbane and Collingwood have been decided by a 1-39 margin and there is no reason to suggest that this will not be a tight and ferocious battle once again between these old Grand Final foes.
The FootyBets.com.au model also has Brisbane winning, projecting a 103.8-98.1 result. That points towards a much tighter contest than the Round 4 meeting and makes the 1-39 winning margin appealing.
Logan Morris 3+ goals is another strong option. The young Brisbane forward has kicked four goals in each of his past two matches and has an outstanding recent record against Collingwood. Morris kicked six against the Magpies in Round 21 last season before adding three in their Round 4 meeting this year, giving him nine goals across his past two games against Friday night's opponent.
Daniel McStay provides the Collingwood player angle. He has kicked at least two goals in each of his past five matches, booting 14 across that stretch, and has also enjoyed facing his former club. McStay has eight goals from his past three appearances against Brisbane, including four earlier this season.

Collingwood Magpies vs Brisbane Lions Head-to-Head
Brisbane has increasingly taken control of this matchup and enters Round 24 having won five of the past six meetings.
The Lions have also won each of the past three encounters, beating Collingwood by 27 points in Round 21 last season before a 29-point preliminary final victory. They then produced the most emphatic result of the recent series in Round 4 this year, winning 17.17 (119) to 10.5 (65).
Morris kicked three goals in that 54-point victory, while Will Ashcroft collected 36 disposals. McStay was one of Collingwood's few major threats, kicking four goals.
Collingwood Magpies Form
Collingwood enters Round 24 with a 12-2-8 record after an extraordinary second draw of the season against Hawthorn.
The Magpies led by 22 points at half-time before Hawthorn responded after the break, with the two sides eventually finishing locked at 92-92. Collingwood's pressure was a major feature of the performance, recording 76 tackles and applying enough pressure to disrupt Hawthorn's possession game.
Nick Daicos finished with 36 disposals and a goal, while Josh Daicos collected 30 touches. Beau McCreery also provided an encouraging midfield option with a career-high 22 disposals.
Collingwood has now lost just once in its past nine matches.
Brisbane Lions Form
Brisbane enters the final round third on the ladder with a 15-7 record and needs one more victory to guarantee a top-four finish.
The Lions have won nine of their past 10 matches, including four of their past five. Their response since the 76-point defeat against Carlton has been impressive, thrashing Hawthorn by 67 points before defeating Gold Coast by 42 in the QClash.
Brisbane's pressure was particularly important against the Suns. The Lions recorded 69 tackles, including 21 inside forward 50, while Will Ashcroft collected 31 disposals and Logan Morris kicked four goals.
The Lions are averaging 103.4 points across their past five matches and have scored at least 93 in four of those games. With a double chance available with a victory, there should be no shortage of motivation heading to the MCG.
