Cripps obliterated the record for most votes in the 2024 edition with 45, picking up his second Brownlow Medal after also winning in 2022.

Daicos was extremely unlucky to miss out, with the Collingwood star also breaking the previous record with 38 total votes.

After narrowly missing out, Daicos is the early favourite to win the 2025 Brownlow Medal, listed at $6.00 with Betr.

Cripps, who will now be looking to join an exclusive club of players to win three Brownlow Medals, is priced at $8.00.

Sydney midfielder Isaac Heeney had a tremendous season in 2024 and is expected to go to another level again in 2025 - he's $10 to take out the award.

Tom Green, Marcus Bontempelli, Sam Walsh, Lachie Neale, Errol Gulden, Jai Newcombe, Caleb Serong and Zach Merrett are also players expected to contend in these early stages.

Known as 'Charlie', the Brownlow Medal is given to the fairest and best player across the AFL season. The winner of the medal is decided across their performances both at home and on the road across the entirety of the season. Match officials cast their votes after each match.

Betting on the Brownlow Medal winner is something that can offer a lot of value. The best players are usually separated by the smallest of margins at the top, making wagering on the winner potentially very profitable.

The Brownlow Medal winner odds will fluctuate dramatically throughout the course of the season and even before the first bounce of the new campaign, meaning timing is important when placing your bet.
