Draper is continuing on his comeback from an arm injury, playing just his fourth tournament of the season and launching his clay swing, while Etcheverry has been one of the busiest players on tour to kick off the year, featuring in a whopping nine tournaments and compiling a strong 12-3 record on clay.

There's no doubt Etchverry has the miles in his legs, especially on clay, but you've got to wonder if fatigue is going to catch up with him at some stage - he also played three consecutive three-setters in Monte Carlo last week. On the flip side, Draper is underdone on this surface and there's just always question marks surrounding his fitness.

Both players actually have terrible record against top 30 players on clay, so this is a tough one to predict on many levels. I'm going to back Over 22.5 games as the best bet - both of these players tend to trend the overs, while Etcheverry represents value in the H2H market in a match that could go either way.

It's been another frustrating period for Draper over the last 10 months or so, with his ranking dropping to No. 25 and with Madrid Masters runner-up points dropping off shortly, he desperately needs some deep runs to remain around the top 20.

Draper has barely featured on tour since last year's French Open - he returned to action in Dubai before making an encouraging run to the Indian Wells Masters quarter-finals as the defending champion, beating Novak Djokovic before falling to Daniil Medvedev.

However, the Brit hasn't won a match since - he lost in his Miami opener to Reilly Opelka before withdrawing from last week's Monte Carlo Masters.

It's been a great start to the season for Etcheverry and he's got a great chance to surpass his career-high ranking of No. 27 over the coming clay swing.

Etcheverry's best surface is undoubtedly clay - he won his maiden ATP title on the surface in February at the ATP 500 Rio Open, while he was also a quarter-finalist in Houston.

The Argentine played well in Monte Carlo last week, edging out Terance Atmane and Grigor Dimitrov in three sets before pushing Carlos Alcaraz in a 6-1 4-6 6-3 defeat.

Etcheverry is a former Barcelona semi-finalist, but at this stage, he's got a noticeable ceiling in his game - he's registered a shocking 8-43 record vs top 30 players so far in his career, losing 22 of his last 23 such matches. Goes without saying he's going to need to add something to his game if he wants to remain around this spot in the rankings and head towards the top 20.
