Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Quentin Halys Tips, Prediction & Live Stream - Halys can cover in Dubai semi-finals
Felix Auger-Aliassime is aiming for his third ATP title of 2025, facing Quentin Halys in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships semi-finals. Auger-Aliassime is leading their head-to-head 2-0, having won their latest encounter in Doha in a tight three-set match. Despite Halys' impressive stride in Dubai, having defeated significant opponents to reach his first ATP 500 semi-final, Auger-Aliassime is expected to edge another three-set victory. This match promises to be exciting and competitive, and can be watched live with conditions applying. Betting on Halys to cover a +3.5 game line might also be worthwhile.

This will be a rematch of their Doha first round showdown last week, which Auger-Aliassime prevailed in a deciding-set tiebreak. This has all the makings of another tight contest and I've got two bests I like here. Halys can cover a +3.5 games line, just like he did in Doha - the Frenchman proved he has what it takes to hang with the Canadian and he's only improved and is more confident heading into this encounter. However, there's no denying Auger-Aliassime is simply a class above and the Canadian is making a habit of going the distance, seeing three sets in his last six completed matches. Halys to cover and FAA to come away with another three-set victory is the most likely outcome in this first Dubai semi-final.
Head To Head
Auger-Aliassime leads 2-0, winning their first meeting in Marseille last year in straight sets before last week's aforementioned 4-6 6-4 7-6 victory in Doha.
Felix Auger-Aliassime Form
No player has won more matches in 2025 so far than Auger-Aliassime, with the Canadian already taking home two ATP titles with a total of 16 victories.
Earning a top 10 scalp over Taylor Fritz at the United Cup, Auger-Aliassime went on to claim the Adelaide title with wins over Tommy Paul and Seb Korda.
Auger-Aliassime would have been disappointed with a second round exit at the Australian Open to Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, but he bounced back strongly to secure the Montpellier title.
The 24-year-old withdrew from Rotterdam and returned last week in Doha, reaching the semi-finals before going down to eventual champion Andrey Rublev. Auger-Aliassime has gone the distance in all three of his matches this week in Doha, edging Alexander Bublik, Nuno Borges and Marin Cilic in three sets.
Quentin Halys Form
After a tough start to the season, Halys is putting together one of the best weeks of his career in Dubai.
Halys was forced to retire in two of his opening four tournaments of 2025, but he's found his groove again in the Middle East.
The Frenchman qualified for the main draw in Doha last week before running into Auger-Aliassime in the opening round and has already won five matches so far in Dubai after earning his spot through qualifying once more.
Halys took advantage of a fatigued Rublev in the opening round before toppling Roberto Bautista Agut and Luca Nardi to reach his first ATP 500 semi-final. Halys has risen into a live ranking of No. 59, which is a career-high.

Verdict
These two players square off for the second straight week and I'm predicting a similar outcome to that of Auger-Aliassime's three-set win in Doha.
Halys can cover a +3.5 games line, but Auger-Aliassime - who has gone to three sets in his last six completed matches - can dig this one out in a decider.
