Meanwhile, Brazil, led by Ancelotti, faces pressure to deliver after a lackluster 1-1 draw, but with their world-class lineup, they’re tipped to keep a clean sheet and secure a win in Brisbane. Brazil are tipped to raise their level after nearly suffering an embarrassing loss to the Socceroos last Friday in Townsville, winning this game and keeping a clean sheet in the process as the two sides resume battle on Tuesday night at Suncorp Stadium.
I'm running back the same two (ultimately failed) tips from Game 1 last Friday.
While it was a hugely impressive and improved performance from the Socceroos following their disappointing World Cup exit, the fact remains Tony Popovic's side only found the back of the net courtesy of an absolute worldie of a free kick from Nestory Irankunda.
The goal went viral across the world as Irankunda further enhanced his reputation as one of the purest and most lethal dead ball specialists out there.
But again, Australia struggled to create clear cut opportunities in the final third without the likes of Cristian Volpato and Mo Toure and outside of set pieces - but it was nice to see Popovic deploy Irankunda on the left wing. It's amazing how players perform better in their natural positions isn't it Tony...
Anyway, I digress. Brazil will be better for the run and I imagine they're going to want to make a statement here. The five-time World Cup champions almost suffered a new low in Townsville and with several world class players in their ranks, Carlo Ancelotti will demand improvement.
So the two plays for this one are BTTS - No (which almost landed in unlikely circumstances on Friday) and Brazil winning this game to nil.

Before last week's 1-1 draw, Brazil had won six of the eight meetings between the two nations, including the last three by 4-0, 6-0 and 2-0 scores.
Australia Form Analysis
It was a demoralising exit from the World Cup for the Socceroos despite reaching the Round of 32 as the team failed to score a goal (own goals excluded) in their final three games, bowing out on penalties to Egypt.
However, Australia produced a strong response against a star-studded Brazil side last week in Townsville and were unlucky not to come away with a famous win after conceding an equaliser in the final seconds of the game from a corner.
Earlier, Irankunda netted his seventh goal from 20 appearances for the national team with a cracking free-kick, while Paul Okon-Engstler also impressed in midfield.
The back three of Lucas Herrington, Alessandro Circati and Harry Souttar were also immense and were seconds from keeping a clean sheet against some of the best attackers in world football.

Popovic will likely make some changes, but expect the back three to remain the same and Irankunda to stay on the left, with Tete Yengi rewarded with another starting spot.
Brazil Form Analysis
Another disappointing World Cup for Brazil, who have now failed to go beyond the quarter-finals in four of the last five competitions since winning in 2002, this time bowing out to Norway in the R16.
Despite fielding a strong starting side that featured the likes of Barcelona's Raphinha, Real Madrid's Vini Jr and Arsenal's Bruno Guimaraes, the Selecao struggled to break through the Socceroos' defence and only escaped with a point after Bournemouth winger Rayan came off the bench and struck late with a powerful header from a corner in the 94th minute.
Ancelotti is now under further pressure following his side's lacklustre performance in Friday's 1-1 draw with Australia.

Raphinha played the full 90 minutes after his record-breaking start to the La Ligas season with Barcelona, but couldn't add to his 14 goals in all competitions.
Ancelotti has hinted that Raphinha won't be rested for this one and could be deployed as a No. 9, which is the role he is thriving in at Barcelona.
Rayan could get a start in place of Estevao after equalising off the bench on Friday, while Andrey Santos is a chance to feature in midfield.
