Racing returned to Flemington in style on Saturday, February 14, with Black Caviar Lightning Stakes Day delivering elite action and a vibrant summer atmosphere. The Group 1 Black Caviar Lightning Stakes over 1000 metres was the headline act, drawing a quality field of sprinters.
Tentyris stole the show in the feature, surging late to claim the straight-track contest. Damian Lane rode four winners on the program, highlighted by back-to-back Group successes aboard Tentyris and Sixties in the CS Hayes Stakes.
