Top Tryscorer Tips

If you’re looking for try scorer value in NRL Round 24, this week’s slate is loaded with red-hot streaks. Josh Addo-Carr has crossed four times in his past three games and five in his last six, while Alex Johnston sits just three tries shy of the all-time record.

Thomas Jenkins has been lethal on the wing for Penrith, scoring in three straight, and Daniel Tupou’s aerial dominance has delivered tries in five of his last six outings. Even further down the ladder, names like Halasima, Tyrell Sloan, Jeral Skelton, and Fletcher Hunt are all finding the line with regularity making this a round where the form lines are just too good to ignore.

Panthers Machine Rolls On

It’s hard to tip against Penrith right now. They’ve won six straight at Commbank after starting the year 0-3 there, and their defence has been immense, conceding just 12 points per game over their last five. Melbourne’s injury list, particularly the absence of Jahrome Hughes, makes this a tough trip. Wingers like Thomas Jenkins and Brian To’o are the danger men.

Dragons the Giant Killers

The Warriors have stumbled without Luke Metcalf and are averaging just over 20 points in their last five games. Meanwhile, the Dragons have taken down big scalps all season, including Melbourne and Canberra. Form says the Dragons are live here, even if the Warriors have the recent H2H edge.

Broncos vs Dolphins - Rivalry With Finals Impact

Brisbane’s injury crisis has left them without key playmakers, while the Dolphins still boast one of the most dangerous long-range attacks in the league. Expect a physical contest with plenty of niggle and potentially a finals-shaping upset.

Roosters Flying, Sharks Flat Track & The Moses Factor

Sam Walker’s return has transformed the Roosters’ attack, the kicking game to Daniel Tupou and Mark Nawaqanitawase (“Marky Mark”) has been lethal. The Bulldogs, however, lead the league in restricting teams from getting into their red zone, setting up a fascinating clash of styles.

Cronulla are 10-3 against bottom-nine teams, while the Titans are 1-9 against current top-eight opposition. Everything points to a Sharks win, possibly by a big margin.

Souths have dominated this matchup in recent years, but Parramatta’s controlled game since Mitch Moses’ return has them building late-season momentum. Dylan Brown’s return adds extra creativity.

Tigers On A Run, Defence Collapse in Newcastle

Manly’s form has fallen away sharply, while the Tigers have quietly won three of their last five. Motivation could be the difference in this one.

The Knights’ defence has gone from top-tier to conceding over 30 points per game in the last six weeks. North Queensland have the firepower to take advantage at home.
