Randwick-Kensington Next Best Bet - Race 3 No. 1 Charleroi

Being by Dundeel and out of a stakes-winning miler in Meuse, Charleroi should relish the extra 150m following a good debut performance over 1250m.

The Sara Ryan-trained galloper just missed second via his Randwick-Kensington showing on April 25 and he can settle closer this time around from gate two.

Although his last trial leading into the debut was plain, Charleroi worked well in two prior heats and there was money for him ahead of his first race day appearance.

Randwick-Kensington Best Bet - Race 5 No. 2 Hellbent On You

While she loses the claim for Wednesday's fourth-up attempt, the J-Mac engagement aboard a fit an in-form Hellbent On You is a positive here.

With a first-up victory followed by two narrow defeats in this grade, the four-year-old is ticking over nicely and the extra 50m here should suit Hellbent On You.

Upgrades on the current Heavy 9 reading will assist the mare, who was well-held via her only try on a heavy track, although that was an end-of-prep run at Group 3 level.

Randwick-Kensington Value Bet - Race 8 No. 11 Tempranillo

Despite still being a maiden runner, this is well worth a look for this Chris Waller-trained filly, who holds a nomination for the Queensland Oaks.

After a somewhat plain debut in a handy maiden, Tempranillo has recorded back-to-back seconds and the 1500m form has stood up through Sisu Spirit (bolted in with his next start).

A wide alley prevented her finishing closer to Golden Smile last start, but Tempranillo was strong late and at start four, there's more options early from a low draw.

Randwick-Kensington Favourite - Race 9 No. 14 Sydney Bowler

Given he was resuming off a 14-month absence, his fresh run at Canterbury was a pass mark, but Sydney Bowler was a little plain second-up at Wyong.

The son of Deep Field was then sent back to the trials and with the tongue tie applied, he got warm late in a BM78 taken out by an in-form Written In Code.

His last effort over this track/trip was good where he made ground after being held-up (third-fastest last 400m and 200m of the card) and J-Mac takes the reins here.
