Oakbank Value Bet - Race 3 No. 3 Blue Akoya

Blue Akoya broke through for her maiden victory over this distance at Cranbourne in early January.

The daughter of Blue Point followed up by doubling her career tally with a Benchmark 62 success over 1000m at Sale two starts later.

Prepared by Anthony and Sam Freedman, the filly has continued to produce solid efforts in defeat in both subsequent starts, including a fourth at Seymour.

That Seymour performance came over 1100m, where she was beaten just over two-and-a-half lengths, with the winner going on to score at Caulfield next time.

Blue Akoya then delivered a strong third in a metro Benchmark 62 at Morphettville Parks last start, and despite rising in grade here, she looks value for a stable that is going well.

Emmetts Country Cup Tips (Race 5)

Oakbank Next Best Bet - Race 5 No. 2 Savsonic

Savsonic is a New Zealand-bred mare who has recorded two wins in 2026, both coming at Strathalbyn.

Her most recent success saw her score by just over two-and-a-half lengths in a 2050m event last week.

That performance came in a Benchmark 56 on a Good 4 surface, where she started favourite.

A change of tactics saw Savsonic ridden with more restraint before taking control in the straight and scoring comfortably.

While her best form has come over further, the drop in distance is unlikely to pose too many issues, with Will Price a positive booking and barrier fourteen not expected to be a major concern.

Capetal The Vintage (Heat 4 of Adelaide in Autumn Series) Tips (Race 7)

Oakbank Best Bet - Race 7 No. 6 Streetcar Apollo

Streetcar Apollo has been in excellent form this preparation, winning three of five starts.

Two of those victories have come at Morphettville Parks, including a win over 1250m two weeks ago.

He scored by just under half a length on a Good 4 surface, and similar conditions are expected here.

The rise in distance is no issue, with four of his previous wins coming over this trip.

That form has proven strong, with multiple runners from that race winning subsequently, and Streetcar Apollo looks well placed to continue his run of form.

Harcourts Hills Railway Stakes (Race 8)

Oakbank Feature Bet - Race 8 No. 1 Prairie Flower

Prairie Flower carries top weight and is one of four runners for trainer Will Clarken.

The mare has produced several strong efforts in defeat this season, including a third in the Listed Doveton Stakes at Caulfield.

That performance came over 1100m on a wet track, and she has continued to race consistently since.

Last start, Prairie Flower finished sixth in the Listed Manihi Classic at Morphettville, beaten just under four-and-a-half lengths.

She was slowly away and treated for heat stress post-race but has since trialled well at Strathalbyn and is capable of a strong showing here.
