Kyneton Tips November 4
Kyneton Electrics BM74 Handicap Tips (Race 4)
Kyneton Best Bet - Race 4 No. 3 Job Done
A significant drop in grade could see Job Done make a successful return at Kyneton, with the Mick Price and Michael Kent Jr-trained gelding bringing strong metropolitan and stakes form into Wednesday's Benchmark 74.
The four-year-old finished third in the Group 3 Manfred Stakes over 1200m at Caulfield in January before being spelled, subsequently resuming with another third in the Listed Redelva Stakes over 1100m at Morphettville.
Although unable to build on that performance in his next two appearances, the son of Snitzel has since produced two encouraging jump-out efforts ahead of his return, including an 800m hit-out at Cranbourne last month.
A previous Benchmark 74 victory at Caulfield Heath in December highlights his ability at this level, while barrier two should allow him to settle favourably after ending his previous preparation with a disappointing ninth at Flemington in May.
The gelding has already demonstrated his effectiveness on rain-affected ground and boasts a strong first-up record, with Damian Lane taking the ride in an assignment that looks considerably more suitable than several of his recent starts.

Kyneton Next Best Bet - Race 7 No. 7 Coronationhercules
A return to rain-affected ground could bring about an immediate improvement from Coronationhercules, whose two career victories have both come on Soft surfaces, including an impressive success at Mornington two starts ago.
The Brett Scott-trained gelding scored over 1500m in a Benchmark 62 at Mornington, settling midfield before finishing strongly to win by half a length in a race that has since produced two subsequent winners.
There was considerable encouragement in that form, with the third and fourth-place finishers both winning at their next appearances, suggesting Coronationhercules had performed well against capable opposition.
His subsequent failure in an MCC Series heat at Horsham came on a much firmer Good 3 surface, which may not have suited, and the return to testing conditions looks a positive for a lightly raced galloper still open to improvement.
Dylan Dunn retains the ride after partnering the son of Exceedance in all five career appearances, while barrier four should provide a favourable passage, giving Coronationhercules every opportunity to bounce back at his sixth start.
bet365 Kyneton Cup Tips (Race 8)
Kyneton Feature Bet - Race 8 No. 8 Placo
A return to winning form at Morphettville last start has Placo well placed for a strong Kyneton Cup performance, with the South Australian visitor arriving in excellent order and particularly well suited to the forecast testing conditions.
The Luke O'Connor-trained gelding recorded his second victory of the preparation when stepping back up to 2000m, benefiting from a return to front-running tactics after finishing down the field over 1400m at Murray Bridge earlier in October.
That latest performance demonstrated his effectiveness when allowed to control the tempo over a suitable staying distance, while his overall record provides considerable confidence that he can reproduce the effort away from home.
All six of his turf victories have come on Soft or Heavy ground, making the current Heavy 8 rating a major positive, while his latest Benchmark 80 success suggests he has the necessary ability to measure up in Wednesday's feature.
Teagan Voorham reunites with the Irish-bred son of Starspangledbanner after partnering him to both victories this preparation, and with an inside draw and a favourable weight, Placo looks capable of giving his South Australian connections a Kyneton Cup triumph.
Prendergast Earthmoving BM62 Handicap Tips (Race 9)
Kyneton Value Bet - Race 9 No. 9 Rattle'n'roll
An unbeaten record at Kyneton makes Rattle'n'roll an interesting prospect at generous odds in the final race, with the Ben Brisbourne-trained gelding returning to a venue where he has recorded both previous appearances as victories.
The five-year-old maintained that perfect record when resuming over 1218m last month, settling close to the speed before fighting on strongly to score by half a length in Benchmark 56 company.
Although the form of that victory has yet to receive a significant boost, runner-up Manchego subsequently finished second again in a similar contest at Kilmore, providing some encouragement from the result.
The son of Showtime has generally produced his strongest performances on firmer surfaces, although he has also shown he can be competitive on Soft ground, leaving the Heavy 8 conditions as the main concern ahead of Wednesday's assignment.
Barrier three should give Lachlan King every opportunity to secure an economical run, while his successful association with Brisbourne at Kyneton this year is another positive, and Rattle'n'roll looks capable of maintaining his unbeaten course record at attractive odds.
