That result means Bayern and Dortmund are level on 18 points at the top of the Bundesliga table, while the German heavyweights are trying to avoid a third consecutive draw in the UCL proper for the first time in 20 years here.

Atletico are dealing with several midfield absences, with Johnny Cardoso and Koke sidelined through injury and Morten Hjulmand unavailable due to suspension. Rodrigo Mendoza is consequently expected to earn a place in the starting XI.
Lee Kang-in could retain his position alongside Julián Alvarez in attack, leaving Jonathan David and Alexander Sorloth as potential options from the bench.
