The Melbourne Demons are predicted to win against the St Kilda Saints in Round 12 of AFL 2025, continuing their strong form with five wins out of their last six games. Melbourne's offensive strength was highlighted by a 53-point victory over Sydney, while St Kilda struggles with six losses in their last seven matches. Key players like Christian Petracca for Melbourne and Jack Sinclair for St Kilda are expected to make significant contributions. Betting on a Demons win in the 1-39 point margin is advised.

Melbourne will continue their resurgence with a win over St Kilda in AFL Round 12.

The Demons have regained their mojo in recent times, winning five of their past six. They come off a commanding 53-point win over Sydney in Round 11, registering their highest score for the season in the process in the 131-78 victory.

Despite some promising early season form, the wheels have fallen off at St Kilda with Ross Lyon’s side losing six of their past seven. They went down to the Gold Coast Suns by 19 points in Round 12 and come in with a 4-7 win-loss record.

A feature of Melbourne’s turnaround has been their renewed scoring output. They have scored 99 points or more in four of their past six and can put the pressure on the Saints defence with some midfield dominance further up the ground.

Take the Demons to land with a win in the 1-39 point bracket. Christian Petracca can continue his solid recent form, while Jack Sinclair should provide plenty of drive for St Kilda

  • Melbourne have won the past five matches between the two sides by an average margin of 24 points
  • Melbourne have won five of their past six, St Kilda have lost six of their past seven
  • St Kilda’s Jack Sinclair has averaged 30 disposals from his last three matches against Melbourne
  • Christian Petracca has averaged 27 for Melbourne in his past three against St Kilda

Head to Head

Melbourne’s turnaround has been built upon better connection when heading inside 50. Their season kick started with the win over Fremantle in Round 6 and a highlight was their 11-point victory over Brisbane a fortnight ago.

Kozzie Pickett comes off a five-goal haul and has kicked 16 in the past six weeks, while Jake Melksham has booted seven goals in the past two rounds.

The Demons rank 3rd in the competition for disposals per game this season. Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver are both going at 26 per game. Oliver, Christian Salem and Ed Langdon all had 31 last weekend.
