Brisbane on-baller Lachie Neale is the $4.33 Brownlow Medal favourite at Sportsbet after another sparkling display for the Lions on Sunday.

Neale ended with a game-high  31 possessions, but wastefulness stopped him from having an all-time great game, with the 27-year-old booting six behinds.

Narrowly behind Neale is Carlton skipper Patrick Cripps at the $6.50 quote. Cripps is unlikely to secure multiple votes despite the Blues gripping on for a one point victory over Essendon on Saturday night after gathering only 20 disposals.

Again, the big firmer was Gold Coast teenager Matt Rowell ($8), who moved into single figures.

Rowell once again starred for the Suns and is likely to be in contention for all three votes after Gold Coast swept aside the Dockers at Metricon Stadium.
