The Knights have also been extremely close in their recent defeats. Before their current two-game winning streak, Newcastle lost three consecutive matches by margins of two, one and two points.

Gold Coast Titans Form Analysis


Gold Coast's brief resurgence has quickly disappeared following two heavy defeats.

The Titans put together back-to-back victories over Manly and St George Illawarra, scoring 38 points in both games, but have since been beaten 42-6 by the Warriors and 30-8 by North Queensland.

Their defence remains the larger concern. Gold Coast have conceded 72 points across their last two games and are allowing an average of 28.8 points across their past five.
