The 2021 Brownlow Medal was an enthralling count right to the very last round, with four players getting 30 votes or more.

Entering the night, Ollie Wines headed the betting ahead of Bulldogs Captain Marcus Bontempelli and Melbourne star Clayton Oliver.

Marcus Bontempelli was off to a great start, leading for the majority of the night before Ollie Wines stormed home late, overall polling in 16 matches and taking the lead in round 22.

Ollie Wines ended the night with 36 votes ahead of Marcus Bontempelli on 33 and Clayton on 31 in third position.

Goal Of The Year

Last year's Rising Star Caleb Serong found his inner Eddie Betts as he re-gathered his feet and snagged a beautiful goal from the pocket in his round 22 effort.

Jim Stynes Award

Childhood Cancer Ambassador and Port Adelaide player Travis Boak was awarded the Jim Stynes Community Leadership Award at the 2021 Brownlow Medal for his 11+ years of work supporting children with cancer, and their families.

Mark Of The Year

Richmond star Shai Bolton took a screamer in the goal square in round eight of the home and away season, sky rocketing him to the top as the likely winner of the Mark Of The Year Award.
