Aryna Sabalenka, currently World No. 1, has progressed to the semi-finals of the Indian Wells tournament without losing a set, highlighting her outstanding form and intent to claim her maiden title at this event. She is set to face Linda Noskova, a Czech player on the rise, but Sabalenka is the overwhelming favorite given her impressive track record and form. Sabalenka is known for her commanding performances and is expected to cover a -4.5 games line. Noskova, despite her promising career trajectory, may find it challenging to halt Sabalenka's momentum.

Aryna Sabalenka vs Linda Noskova Tips, Prediction & Live Stream

World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka continues her pursuit of a maiden Indian Wells title when she comes up against Linda Noskova in the semi-finals on Friday.

Sabalenka has been dominant in the desert so far this tournament, advancing to her third semi-final without relinquishing a single set. The top seed is 2-0 when reaching this stage of Indian Wells and of course she's the overwhelming favourite here against the 14th seed, with Noskova enjoying the fortune of not having to face a top 30 player on her way to the semi-finals.

Noskova is on the verge of the top 10 herself after making her second WTA 1000 semi-final in the space of five months, but I don't think the Czech - or basically anyone for that matter - is stopping Sabalenka in this sort of form.

The World No. 1 was in superb touch against Naomi Osaka and Victoria Mboko and I expect her to be ruthless again here. I'm taking Sabalenka to cover a -4.5 games line in victory - something she's done in her last five meetings against players ranked in the 11-20 bracket.
  • Sabalenka is 15-1 this season
  • Sabalenka has won nine of her last 10 Indian Wells matches
  • Sabalenka has covered a -4.5 line in seven of those nine victories
  • Sabalenka is 2-0 in Indian Wells semi-finals
  • Sabalenka has covered a -4.5 line in her last five wins vs players ranked 11-20
  • Sabalenka has won 11 of her last 14 semi-finals
  • Noskova is 3-12 vs top five players in her career
  • Noskova has a 5-5 record in semi-final matches

Sabalenka vs Noskova Head To Head

Sabalenka leads 1-0, winning their only previous meeting in the 2023 Adelaide final in straights.

Aryna Sabalenka Form Analysis

  • 2026 Record: Sabalenka 15-1
  • WTA Indian Wells Record: 19-6
  • Current Ranking: No. 1
  • Career-High Ranking: No. 1 (2023)

Sabalenka remains firmly on track for a first Indian Wells title, producing a commanding run through the opening stages of the tournament.

Competing in her first event since the disappointment of another three-set defeat in the Australian Open final, the world No. 1 has quickly rediscovered her rhythm in the California desert. Sabalenka has progressed to the semi-finals without conceding a single set.

Her campaign began with a 6–4, 6–2 victory over Himeno Sakatsume, followed by an equally convincing 6–4, 6–1 win against Jaqueline Cristian.

The top seed then delivered one of her most impressive performances of the week in the Round of 16, overpowering Naomi Osaka 6-2 6-4 in a high-profile clash. Sabalenka won 39 of 56 points behind her serve and struck eight aces in a dominant display.

Sabalenka then repeated her Australian Open triumph over Victoria Mboko, beating the rising star 7-6(0) 6-4 in the quarter-finals. The Belarusian's tiebreak record continues to impress - she's now 26 of her last 29 breakers dating back to the start of last year.

Linda Noskova Form Analysis

  • 2026 Record: 9-4
  • WTA Indian Wells Record: 7-3
  • Current Ranking: No. 14
  • Career-High Ranking: No. 12 (Jan 2026)

It feels like Noskova will break into the top 10 sooner rather than later as the Czech youngster continues her quiet rise up the rankings.

The 21-year-old ended last season in strong fashion, making the final of big tournaments in Beijing and Tokyo - but she hadn't been past the R16 in any of her four tournaments in 2026 before arriving in Indian Wells.

Noskova has more than made up for a bit of lost ground in the Californian desert, taking advantage of her draw opening up by reaching the semi-finals.

The Czech did beat the in-form Sorana Cirstea and crushed Alexandra Eala 6-0 6-2 before dispatching Aussie qualifier Talia Gibson 6-2 4-6 6-2 in the quarter-finals.

Can't back against Sabalenka in this sort of form in the business end of a tournament - she's tipped to cover a -4.5 games line here.
