Wawrinka is continuing his farewell tour, with the 41-year-old set to officially call time on his decorated career at home in Basel at the end of the year. The Swiss veteran last played in Estoril all the way back in 2013, where he ended up winning the title with a victory over David Ferrer in the final.
It's been a mixed bag for Wawrinka during his final season on tour, but he's almost always competitive - but a 1-10 record vs top 60 players doesn't bode well for his winning chances here.
