Alexander Bublik vs Valentin Royer Tips, Prediction & Live Stream - Bublik to secure 4th title of 2025 in Hangzhou
In the Hangzhou Open final, Alexander Bublik aims for his career-best fourth ATP title after a remarkable turnaround this season, breaking into the world’s top 20 and amassing 21 wins in his last 24 matches. He is set to face qualifier Valentin Royer, who has stunned the field by reaching his first ATP final, including an upset over top-seed Andrey Rublev. While Royer’s run has been impressive, Bublik’s form and consistency make him the clear favorite, with most predictions expecting a straight-sets win for the Kazakh.

Bublik has suddenly transformed into one of the most consistent players on tour, breaking into the world's top 20 and winning three ATP titles over the last few months. Currently up to No. 12 in the ATP Race to Turin, Bublik is now one win away from claiming another piece of silverware, this time at the ATP 250 event in Hangzhou, where he has largely cruised into the final. Meanwhile, Royer has made a stunning run to his first ever ATP final, coming from qualifying and defeating Andrey Rublev along the way.
Royer had only won three tour-level matches in his career before this tournament, giving you an indication of just how surprising this run to the final is. However, running into this new and improved version of Bublik will likely prove a step too far. Bublik is simply on another level right now and I'm expecting another clinical straight sets victory here.
Head To Head
This will be the first career meeting between the pair.
Alexander Bublik Form
Bublik comes into this contest with a 30-17 record on the season, with most of those victories coming since May.
It was looking like a horror season for Bublik after he crashed out of the top 80 in March. However, the 28-year-old turned things around spectacularly, reaching the French Open quarter-finals, winning the ATP 500 title in Halle (beating Jannik Sinner along the way) before capturing back-to-back titles on clay in Gstaad and Kitzbuhel.
Bublik also reached the US Open fourth round, meaning he's won 21 of his last 24 completed matches heading into this Hangzhou final.
The Kazakh hasn't really been troubled in Hangzhou - he needed three sets to overcome Aleksandar Vukic in his opening match before 6-1 6-1 and 6-3 6-3 victories over Dalibor Svrcina and Yibing Wu in the quarter and semi-finals.
Valentin Royer Form
Royer has put in the hard yards to make his top 100 debut this season and he's reaping the rewards in Hangzhou, where he's advanced to his first ATP final.
The 24-year-old has been grinding away on the Challenger Tour, making four finals this year - including taking back-to-back titles in Rwanda to kick off the year.
The Frenchman has continued to improve as the year has gone on, qualifying for the Wimbledon main draw and reaching the second round. Royer also made the second round of the US Open, where it took an in-form Denis Shapovalov to stop him in four sets.
Royer has extended his positive momentum on tour, qualifying for the Hangzhou main draw before making a run all the way to the final, defeating Aleksandar Kovacevic, top seed Andrey Rublev, Learner Tien and Corentin Moutet along the way.

Verdict
Royer is having the best tournament of his career, but Bublik has won 21 of his last 24 levels and is simply the superior player right now.
Ten of Bublik's last 12 wins at ATP level have come in straight sets, so backing another routine win as he comes away with the Hangzhou title.
