The next Australian Federal Election will see Anthony Albanese and his Labor party looking to secure another term in office following their triumph in 2022.
With the election due to take place on Saturday May 3, 2025, Elitebet have Labor as $1.20 favourites to remain in power as the political battle in Australia edges towards a conclusion for another cycle.
Australian Federal Election Winner | Odds |
---|---|
Labor | $1.20 |
Coalition | $4.75 |
Any Other Party | $251 |
A Liberal/National Coalition government winner of the 2025 Australian Federal Election was favoured at the start of the year, but The Coalition have drifted out to $4.75 as of April 28, 2025.
Of course, sports betting always brings shocks and surprises, so it stands to reason that this election could also be subject to a surprising result.
The only major shock in the betting would see any party other than the Coalition or Labor secure power. The Greens were the best of the rest in 2022, securing four seats in total. Independents secured a total of 13 seats. The fact the Greens were the closest competitor to the top-two and still needed another 72 seats shows how vast the gap in popularity between Labor and the Coalition is to the rest,
Which party do you think will secure power in 2025? Can Labor make it a second consecutive term in power, or will the Coalition win the 2025 Australian Federal Election?
