NRL Team Lists: Grand Final

The teams are locked in for the 2026 NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final, with the Sydney Roosters and Newcastle Knights set to meet at Accor Stadium on Sunday night.

The Roosters have named an unchanged squad from their preliminary-final win over the Dolphins, while Newcastle coach Justin Holbrook has stuck with the same 19-man squad that defeated the Panthers.

There are still two key situations to watch before kick-off. Connor Watson has been named on the Roosters bench after failing a HIA against the Dolphins, while Knights hooker Phoenix Crossland has been selected pending his appearance at the NRL Judiciary.

No changes for the Roosters from the squad that defeated the Dolphins to progress to the club's first decider in seven years.

Utility Connor Watson failed a HIA at Suncorp Stadium last Friday night but will visit an independent neurologist on Thursday in a bid to be cleared for the Grand Final. Watson has been named on the interchange.

Benaiah Ioelu, Tommy Talau and Egan Butcher complete the extended squad.

Newcastle Knights Team News

Justin Holbrook has named the same 19-man squad that defeated the Panthers in the preliminary final.

Hooker Phoenix Crossland has been named to play pending his appearance at the NRL Judiciary on Tuesday night to answer a Dangerous Contact charge for his hip-drop tackle on Nathan Cleary.

Should Crossland be suspended, Harrison Graham will start the Grand Final at hooker, with one of Diesel Hagan, Kyle McCarthy or Elijah Salesa-Leaumoana joining the interchange.
