Both teams have shown their good and bad sides across the first two rounds of the season and there is a lot to take out of it. Sydney’s defence in the middle of the park is not great and I expect the Warriors to exploit that with their tough forwards getting a roll on.

Things will slow down somewhat once New Zealand reach the 20m zone where they will likely struggle for creativity against an “in your face” defence from the Roosters which is strong on the goal line.

For Sydney they have the attacking prowess once they get within reach and as long as they aren’t buried in their own half will get their fair share of shots at the Warriors. Manly converted their minimal chances quite easily last week as did the Raiders in Vegas.

The best tip in this game is the Over with defence secondary for both teams at the moment. The contest will likely finish at or within a score so I am taking the experience of the Roosters to be on the winning side. Sydney’s right side wingers have had success against the Warriors - book Dom Young in for a double!

The Roosters got away with an emphatic victory over the reigning premiers last weekend in a high scoring battle 38-32. Penrith were pushing late for a come from behind win but the Roosters managed to hold them off despite having a player in the sin-bin.

Some big changes for the Roosters with Spencer Leniu and Victor Radley both being named to return. Lindsay Collins is also back but named on the bench after he missed last week’s game with illness.

Siua Wong reverts back to the bench to allow for Radley’s return. Salesi Foketi was named on the interchange but failed to have his high tackle charge downgraded and will now miss the game. Savala, Losalu or Makatoa are all possibilities of taking his spot.
