Morphettville Parks Best Bet - Race 1 No. 5 High On Sugar
The five-year-old returned to action with a down-the-field effort contesting a 1000m event at this venue in November.
The son of Overshare came home ninth, beaten four lengths, in a Benchmark 0-64 handicap held on a sound surface that day.
He demonstrated improvement second-up when again encountering a Good 4 surface and delivering a victory in a Benchmark 64 handicap at Gawler.
The gelding overcame trouble to score by just over half a length in that 1200m event.
While he could finish only seventh on the main track here last time when stepping up to a Benchmark 70, he was beaten just two lengths and now drops in grade from an inside barrier with Jake Toeroek back aboard.
Thomas Farms Handicap Tips (Race 5)
Morphettville Parks Value Bet - Race 5 No. 5 Acapella Moon
The daughter of Sebring Sun produced a strong second-place finish in an 1100m Benchmark 62 at Murtoa in early October.
She was then off the scene for over two months and joined the Hannah Bryce stable from Andrew Payne during that period.
All three subsequent runs have come at Murray Bridge, including a narrow second in a Benchmark 58 earlier this month when beaten less than half a length.
The mare jumped from a wide barrier on that occasion and draws more favourably here.
All three runs this preparation have been on a Good 4 surface, the slight step up in distance is no concern, and Rochelle Milnes’ booking is a positive.
Canadian Club Handicap Tips (Race 7)
Morphettville Parks Roughie - Race 7 No. 2 Nostyria
The six-year-old performed well on wet tracks last preparation, including a victory on the main track here in August.
He scored in a 1050m Benchmark 0-64 on wet ground that day and was spelled following a seventh over the same course and distance next time.
The gelding resumed over the same track and trip without a recognised trial and failed to beat a runner home after being ridden cold.
While he jumped at big odds first-up, he has won fresh in the past and is expected to improve for that run.
The drop from Benchmark 66 company is a positive, the distance is no issue, and with Alysha Warren claiming three kilograms he could surprise.

Morphettville Parks Next Best Bet - Race 9 No. 10 Bewitchery
The mare returned with a solid sixth of twelve in a 1200m Benchmark 66 at Sandown in December.
She was beaten just over two lengths on that Good surface but failed to shine when ninth in a Benchmark 74 at Geelong next time.
That Geelong run preceded a return to form at Pakenham on January 29.
The four-year-old made all the running to win by nearly two lengths in a 1400m Benchmark 62 on a Good 4 surface.
Trained by Leon & Troy Corstens & Will Larkin, the daughter of Blue Point is expected to encounter similar conditions here and looks suited crossing the border for this contest.
