Balaklava Next Best Bet - Race 1 No. 7 Harsh
She's running out of chances, however, Harsh still brings easily the best form lines to this Class 1.
The mare has placed at her past three appearances, two of those over this track-and-trip, with the latest coming a fortnight ago as a beaten favourite behind Theodore.
Although well held in second in that last attempt, she still put almost a three-and-a-half-length margin on the next runner home.
Harsh was a deserving favourite there after being luckless in defeat at Strathalbyn on April 29 when shuffled back and finding trouble at key stages in a race she should have won.
The from that race has stood up at metropolitan level, with Eight On The Dot a subsequent Adelaide winner, while her placing here on April 15 came behind Fringes, who was a Group 3 winner at her next start and she is not without a chance in Saturday's Queensland Oaks.

She is a much more talented galloper than her record suggests and Brimarvie Rosemarie finally got on the board on Boxing Day at Morphettville when recording a much overdue breakthrough victory.
An eye-catching third at Strathalbyn followed before she rounded out the summer when well held as a beaten favourite at Gawler in what appeared a tired end-of-preparation performance.
Without being knocked around in a decent open-class heat, the Murray Bridge trial on May 7 was an eye-catcher.
The four-year-old was heavily supported as a result, starting favourite for a 1050m BM56 here on May 20.
Although she found one better in an all-the-way winner, Brimarvie Rosemarie still made ground from back in the field and recorded the fastest final 600m of the program, while the rise to 1200m suits second-up.

Balaklava Value Bet - Race 7 No. 14 Full Commitment
Getting onto rain-affected ground should not hurt the chances of Full Commitment, who kicked off her South Australian career on a Good 4 at Strathalbyn on May 17.
The daughter of Harry Angel was brave there without luck, sticking on despite a wide run to finish runner-up behind Southern Monarch.
Southern Monarch is one of her key threats again here, while Full Commitment held a decent margin on the third-placed runner.
The John Macmillan-trained galloper was respected in the market there after taking out a Murray Bridge trial on May 7 despite being on one rein throughout.
Her only prior victory came second-up on Heavy ground over a similar journey to this and, with any improvement from the recent fresh assignment, Full Commitment should be going close under Harry Grace, who can settle her handy enough from barrier six.
