Although she found one better in an all-the-way winner, Brimarvie Rosemarie still made ground from back in the field and recorded the fastest final 600m of the program, while the rise to 1200m suits second-up.

Balaklava Value Bet - Race 7 No. 14 Full Commitment

Getting onto rain-affected ground should not hurt the chances of Full Commitment, who kicked off her South Australian career on a Good 4 at Strathalbyn on May 17.

The daughter of Harry Angel was brave there without luck, sticking on despite a wide run to finish runner-up behind Southern Monarch.

Southern Monarch is one of her key threats again here, while Full Commitment held a decent margin on the third-placed runner.

The John Macmillan-trained galloper was respected in the market there after taking out a Murray Bridge trial on May 7 despite being on one rein throughout.

Her only prior victory came second-up on Heavy ground over a similar journey to this and, with any improvement from the recent fresh assignment, Full Commitment should be going close under Harry Grace, who can settle her handy enough from barrier six.
