With just 15 points separating the championship rivals and only three sprint rounds remaining, every race now carries Finals implications.

The NTI Townsville 500 arrives after one of the most competitive starts to a Supercars season in recent memory. Through 19 races we've seen nine different winners, 10 pole sitters and 14 different podium finishers, while Ford has remarkably won every race despite Chevrolet and Toyota regularly challenging for victories.

Townsville's Reid Park Street Circuit has become one of the championship's most unpredictable venues. The combination of concrete walls, heavy braking zones and demanding tyre management regularly rewards drivers who can qualify well and stay out of trouble. Triple Eight may have endured an inconsistent Darwin weekend, but the team traditionally responds quickly and Feeney's ability to maximise one-lap pace remains among the best in the field.

Reid Park rewards precision and confidence over the kerbs, two areas where Feeney has consistently excelled. Expect Triple Eight to unload with improvements after the Darwin disappointment and put the #88 Mustang back on the front row.
