It's a fantastic chance for USA to reach the World Cup quarter-finals on home soil when they come up against Belgium at Lumen Field on Monday.
After R16 eliminations in their last three World Cup appearances, USA can snap that run and reach the last eight against a Belgian side that haven't impressed at this competition.
Belgium couldn't beat the likes of Egypt and Iran in the group stage, but a big win over minnows New Zealand meant they topped their group. The Red Devils were then on the brink of elimination against Senegal in the R32, trailing 2-0 with minutes remaining before somehow forcing extra-time and prevailing 3-2, with Youri Tielemans scoring the latest goal in World Cup history since records started in 1966 (125th minute).
USA meanwhile have been playing some high quality football, easing past Australia and Paraguay in the group stage and largely cruising against Bosnia in the R32. Not the trickiest of paths to the R16, but you can only play what's in front of you and for me, USA have been in much better form than their opponents at this competition.
The Stars & Stripes also receive a huge boost, with suspended striker Folarin Balogun controversially seeing his ban overturned for this clash, allowing him to take his place in the starting side.
Balogun has three goals for this tournament and remains USA's most likely, while I'm also liking Over 25.5 total shots for the match, with both nations demonstrating clear eye for goal. USA have been the better side and should advance, while veteran Kevin De Bruyne remains Belgium's most influential player.

Belgium Form Analysis
