Mumbai Indians Form

The Mumbai Indians are starting to find some form and is a dangerous prospect going forward. They are fourth on the Indian Premier League table after winning their second consecutive match against the Chennai Super Kings last time out.

The Mumbai side bowled first in Delhi and none of the bowlers really performance as the Super Kings posted 218 runs in 20 overs. Despite the pitch being very good for batting, it was a stiff total.

Quinton de Kock (38) and Rohit Sharma (35) made a solid start to the chase but three quick wickets saw them slip from 71-0 to 81-3. They were well behind the scoring rate but up stepped Kieron Pollard.

The powerful West Indian played one of the great IPL innings, smashing 87* off 34 balls including six fours and eight sixes. He guided the Mumbai Indians to a four wicket win off the final ball of the innings.
